Migration

Horizontal movement - migration as a tool for expanding and exploring the environment;

a field of resistance to the existing order - in search of a new way of life (here, anyone can have various social practices, including a la psychogeographical drift, as a tool for building an experimental everyday life);

escapism - internal emigration as a consequence of an authoritarian/totalitarian regime and a method of survival in an aggressive environment;

the old genre of "walking" ("Journey Beyond Three Seas", as travel notes, and symbolic, mythopoetic space - in search of "paradise" on earth).

Here we would like to clarify that this exhibition took place in 2018 in conjunction with the Discontext project, which featured various musicians who were invited to reflect on the theme of migration. To our great regret, no descriptions of the individual works remain in our archive, and therefore we invite you to view the gallery as it was.
